The art works speak back to those who dare to tell us, the people of Merthyr, who we are and who we can become.
We invite you to an evening of performance, film and exhibitions at two of Merthyr’s finest town centre venues. We begin at 6 pm at Theatre Soar for memo… mono…move: a journey through memories, heard through monologues, seen through movement. Performed by professional actors and members of the community, this short piece of theatre represents each individual’s sense of self within a particular place and time in Merthyr.
We then move to Redhouse for 7 pm for the launch of a multi-media installation of film, music, digital stories and photography, created by local residents, professional artists and researchers.
Join us as we celebrate the talents and stories of our town, Merthyr.
